Lets talk about garden envy! If ever there was a garden to envy, it would be my dear client and friend Glenda Cudaback's. Ascending up the hill to her beloved Everhart is a treat beyond your imagination. The first thing I noticed, is that maybe this is a garden that could be obtainable. The beauty of Everhart is that it has everything you would ever want on your estate, but in a much smaller scale. The stone house sits on a hill surrounded by english gardens, and long sweeping views of an orchard in front of an ice house and stream. You don't know where to look first! There is beauty everywhere! Let's just say you get a warm, fuzzy feeling visiting Glenda's house and garden. And oh, by the way, there is always champagne in the fridge awaiting your arrival!
This tree peony just takes my breath away! It is a Duchess of Marlborough and has been in the ground for 8 years. They take awhile to settle in and begin blooming, but when they do, it's a dazzling spring feast for your eyes!
Attached to the back of the house is a beautiful white pergola covered with white wisteria.
Look at those cascading blooms. Aren't they beautiful?
How about this stone garden tool shed with a lattice roof!
Throughout the garden there are hundreds of roses, peonies, clematis, boxwoods, bulbs and perennials, all of my favorites. I hope you have enjoyed Glenda's garden as much as I have.
